Almost ready to go to the spray finish booth! This one is a spinoff from the original design, sporting back bevels, rounded heel, offset side dots and our signature polygonal rosebuds inlay. This is a very promising guitar!
One of our little things that we do on our guitars is designing everything to maximize economy. Design is the means to the end, and after all, the instrument is just a tool that has to do the work in the best way possible. Here, we demonstrate the use of rare earth magnets to eliminate the need of using screws to attach the cover plate to the electronic cavity of our instruments. Meaning no more lost screws, no more stripped holes on the body, no more adding inserts to add a different screw, etc. Meaning just performance, functionality, smartness....in a single word, class. Come and experience this baby and see what it can do for you. Embrace evolution. This is Evell.

As promised, this is the first part of our refret documentary. Some special considerations have to be taken in account when refretting an old Fender Stratocaster - fret tang size and length, fret slot size, fretboard material - even how you get those frets off the fretboard would affect the outcome of this job greatly. So sit back, enjoy and get ready for Part II!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8XMW2qWPCc&feature=youtu.be
An old, 78 Fender Stratocaster that hasn't been touched too much has arrived for a refret. YAY! This is a golden chance to show you guys how a refret is done on a Fender guitar that was built before 82. There are some REALLY IMPORTANT considerations to take and some dangerous pitfalls to avoid when tackling a refret on a vintage Fender Stratocaster, and any mistakes or alterations to the neck would hurt the value and resell price on this instrument. So stay tuned for more on this - We'll post a full pictorial and a brief description of all the tasks performed. EXCITING DAYS AHEAD! :D
