Ukens pianist /// Pianist of the week Lunsjkonserter hver dag i sept. / Daily lunchtime concerts Sept.: Oda Voltersvik. Oda Voltersvik har opptrådt på flere viktige internasjonale konsertarenaer de siste årene, inkludert Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, Palermo Classica International Festival og Wigmore Hall. Hun er vinner av Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition (2017) og finalist i London Intercollegiate Jaques Samuels konkurranse (2016). Hun er også prosjektleder for Volt Ensemble. I januar i år lanserte hun soloutgivelsen «Firebird» til gode anmeldelser. Blant omtalene finner vi denne: «Hats off to Oda Voltersvik for such well-considered programme for her debut recording as a solo pianist (...) a most auspicious start to a recording career that promises much for the future - and already delivers generously here.» (Martin Anderson, klassiskmusikk.com). Voltersvik har spilt i Troldhaugens sommerserie siden 2014. IN ENGLISH: Oda Voltersvik has performed at several important international venues including “Palermo Classica” International Festival, Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall. Voltersvik launched her solo debut album "Firebird" this January, and recieved great reviews. Among them, this, from Martin Anderson (klassiskmusikk.com): “Hats off to Oda Voltersvik for such well-considered programme for her debut recording as a solo pianist (...) a most auspicious start to a recording career that promises much for the future – and already delivers generously here.“ Her concert engagements in Norway include annual recitals for a week as Artist in Residence at Edvard Grieg museum since 2014 and several scenes and music societies throughout Norway.
