Marana, an Australian Aboriginal word meaning 'Stars', is our award winning ultra-compact, ultra-portable and ultralight model. Its small stowed size hides large bearings, high grade helical focuser, Teflon and Ebony Star bearing materials, Vixen red dot finder and encoder couplings to plug'n'play computer controlled telescope pointing systems. Specially made carbon fibre poles form the truss assembly. Marana is offered in 12" and 14" aperture sizes

Karee, an Australian Aboriginal word meaning 'Sun', is our ultralight large model, capable of being fitted out to create a complete Go-To computerized telescope. Using a proven three strut system, Karee has several configurations that can be selected, form the secondary cage, number of finderscopes, built-in counterweight solutions, and rockerbox designs, Karee is a highly customizeable instrument. Karee is offered in sizes from 16" to 20".

This competition is directed towards the kids who attend SPSP, the major yearly event of the Astronomical Society of New South Wales, held at their dark sky site at Ilford, NSW. This competition seeks to engage with kids through the many different ways that kids have to express themselves. So, the Creativity Competition has been started. This year's creativity theme is "What does Astronomy mean to you?"
