J&V was is attendance today as the biggest cruise liner to ever visit Orkney docked at Hatston pier. The MSC Preziosa is the length of three football pitches and can carry 4345 passengers and 1300 crew.

Our Fleet At present we operate a fleet of 13 coaches, varying from 48 to 55 seats, a 33 seat midicoach, a 16 seat minicoach as well as 2 minibuses with 16 seats. Our fleet are meticulously maintained, irrespective of cost, keeping our vehicles up to date with the relevant safety standards, for your safety and comfort. All vehicles are fitted with: Seat belts PA system Radio /CD player Courier Seat In addition, a variety of our coaches & 33 seat midicoach have: Air Conditioning DVD player with front mounted monitor Air Suspension All of our drivers are experienced in all types of Private Hire and Tour Excursion work. Our drivers are selected for their experience and knowledge of the islands, as well as their driving ability, with a strong emphasis on customer care to make your trip a pleasure.

We are a family run business, based in Stromness. As a husband and wife team, both born in Orkney, we are proud to be the only coach hire company in the islands operated by Orcadians. Our business was established in 1998, initially operating taxis and minibuses, then expanding into coach hire. We have 13 coaches varying from 48 to 55 seats, a 33 seat midicoach, a 16 seat minicoach as well as two 16 seat minibuses, all available for hire. Amongst the local community we have a good reputation for reliability and offer excellent customer service at very competitive rates. Our coaches are clean and comfortable and we employ experienced local drivers. We pride ourselves in providing a professional, efficient and friendly service, with attention to detail you can only expect from a family run business.

Orkneys first Bendy bus This one pictured is a Scania, the second Bendy is a Mercedes they will be used as shuttle buses when liners visit Orkney, ferrying folks to and fro from the liner to the travel centre, with a capacity of approx 140 passengers on each bus.
