Pancake Day: which beer makes the best batter?
Happy #PancakeDay! We loooove this holiday because 1) pancakes are amazing and 2) pancakes made with beer are superb. The carbonation adds fluff and body, whilst the flavour you choose adds enormous character. We'll be making American style pancakes with local Cheltenham brewery DEYA Brewing Company's flagship pale ale, Steady Rolling Man, for dinner. The toppings are Korean-inspired: sticky tofu and kimchi. Drooooooool. Want to make beer pancakes of your own? We had some lovely guys celebrating a 60th birthday on the Cheltenham Microbrewery Tour on Friday. We visited DEYA Brewing Company, Prescott Ales and WBJessopHouse and enjoyed fab beers at all three.
