Husband and wife team, Helen and Elliot run Newman-Moore equestrian.
Helen BHSII
Eliot BHSAI Helen is a qualified BHS II instructor with over 15 years experience. She started riding at the age of 8 and competed for her Pony Club qualifying for Hickstead and competing at Weston Park.She has a passion for showing having qualified ponies for RIHS and HOYS several years on the trot! Also evented to intermediate level eventing, She is an all round instructor who has immense passion for bringing on all riders and horses whatever level.
Elliot is also a qualified BHS II instructor who taught himself all the way up to 4 star eventing level. He has competed at Bramham, Burghley, Blaire Castle and Badminton. He is experienced with young and difficult horses and currently focuses on schooling all the horses Newman- Moore Equestrian train. He has also trained race horses, competed at HOYS showjumping and also ridden for his pony club at area level and also at Weston park.
Both Helen and Elliot believe that riding starts with a good seat and leg aids. Everything a horse does starts with getting the basics right and that's the flat work , whether you are a dressage specialist, showjumper or eventer. Learning to ride and build a bond between you and your horse is about patience and practice.

Good evening everyone! Next show jump clinic dates at Coates are on the 2/3rd December. Then before Christmas Louise Partridge and I will be holding our Christmas jumping funday (same as last year) mulled wine, mince pies, goodies, presents and a possible visit from Santa! Jumping clinic on October 29th at cooksons near Bourton on the water. Huge arena with fantastic jumps for youngsters or more experienced horses and riders. I’m a fully qualified BHSII with extensive experience teaching nervous/novice horses and riders through to the more experienced.
