University graduate offering grinds in Irish, at all levels and capabilities, to secondary school students. Maynooth University Graduate offering Irish Grinds to Secondary School students of all capabilities and levels of difficulty in the general Leixlip/Lucan/Maynooth area.
I began giving grinds to students during my first year in Maynooth University and have since found it to be a great passion of mine.
I feel I can offer my students a new sense of the language by identifying their personal strengths and weaknesses and going 'back to basics' by focusing on elements of the grammar that they may not have fully grasped in class. All while creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I then turn my attention to the exam (Junior Cert, Leaving Cert or in-house exams, what ever the case may be) and I structure the tutorials, in conjunction with the student around this. My idea is to have the student well versed in the layout of the exam and confident that they can achieve their full potential.
As an aspiring University lecturer and native speaker, helping students understand Irish is of great importance to me. I offer a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where the learning and love of the language is encouraged.
I am currently studying for a Masters degree in University College Dublin.
