Anyone who would be interested in becoming a 'Skipper Chef' should check out this EU initiative. Fantastic opportunity - a part of the course is being held in Hour Kitchen and then a week in Italy - what an opportunity!😎🍲🍷⛵️ Places still available to those who missed the November module............... 'A local Irish business, EazyCity, is currently working on a EU funded project between Ireland and Italy which aims at experimenting the educational and training process of a brand new professional profile: the skipper chef. This is the result of a mixture of different but complementary competencies taken from operators from different professional fields: the sailing, waitering, cooking and touristic guidance. The final output will be a new professional profile able to welcome on board, to cook, to manage the on-board activities and to guide their guests on excursions. Didactic modules (mixed between theory and training-on-the-job activities) will be held in different didactic environments, such as didactic rooms, tourist agencies, yachts, in Ireland and in Italy. The first training session took place in November 2016, the next one will be in April 2017 and the third session will be in Italy, before end of May 2017. EazyCity will provide return flight’s tickets from Dublin to Italy (Brindisi or Bari), accommodation and full board to successful applicants for 1 week of practical stage in Puglia (Italy) in May 2017. If you wish to apply, get in contact with Costanza at costanza@eazycity.com asap!' l
