Our next event has been rescheduled for Monday 27th March at 8.00pm. This fascinating Talk will be given by Archaeologist Áine Brosnan. The title is ''Sile ni gig - midwife of the soul '' These evocative stone carvings which caused such consternation to the early antiquarians who first began to write about them in the early nineteenth century have been long misunderstood. This talk will discuss some new ideas in relation to their meaning and use. Venue is Christian Fellowship Church Bantry. There will also be an annual general meeting held after this exciting talk, and we hope to have time for an informal cup of tea and chat afterwards. Everyone will be very welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 27th.
