Bantry Historical Society is a voluntary organisation that has been running for many years, it manages the museum and organises regular talks.

All my work of art on this page is focused on the Irish Proclamation of the Easter rising 1916, which ;lead to the Independence of Ireland.

The museum is housed in the former Presbyterian Church known as 'Scots Church'. The exhibitions in the museum reflect the history of the town.
