In 1946 the first TOYOTA sewing machine was constructed under the strict supervision of Kiichiro Toyoda himself, the founder of TOYOTA Motor Corporation. Since then TOYOTA has been championing the functional yet beautiful designs that millions have chosen to create their sewing memories on.
The quality of the first sewing machine was so outstanding that it was allowed to use the same logo as TOYOTA automobiles. Since then, TOYOTA sewing machines have continued to progress under the company’s motto of "Quality Supremacy, User Friendliness and Elegant Appearance".
