Driver was cruising along in his Isuzu NPR 200 truck when it started banging and making a horrible noise. We went out to have a look but had to get truck towed in we noticed the fly wheel and clutch wobbling around. Removed the gear box and clutch and found the fly wheel had come loose. We notified customer of this and sent a few photos. They then told us this truck only had a new clutch and fly wheel fitted 1 month ago.. We'd just like to thank the other Truck and Diesel Mechanics in Perth for keeping us busy ;) Having troubles with your Truck or Mechanic? Give us a call on (08) 9455 3284 now to talk to one of our Diesel Specialists or head to our website for more information at: http://www.mcglashanmechanical.com.au

The other day we got a call from an owner of a MAN Truck that was running rough and blowing excessive smoke (seems to be the week for MAN Trucks). The mechanics found that the number 6 injector had failed. We brought it back to the workshop and changed out all 6 injectors and a few other little tidy up jobs then sent her back to work running like a dream. Failed injectors can cause Truck Engines to run rough, miss fire, and use excessive fuel. If you're having any of these issues call (08) 9455 3284 now to talk to one of our Diesel Specialists or head to our website for more information at: http://www.mcglashanmechanical.com.au

If it ticks, it's probably a time bomb. A new customer came in with his MAN Truck for a ticking noise complaint once engine was at operating temperature. After carrying out our checks we found that the wrong oil had been put in the engine. Seems a simple mistake but left alone it could become a ticking time bomb that explodes your wallet. We notified the owner and filled her up with the correct oil. Some solutions are easier than others. To learn more about how we can help you or to talk to one of our Diesel Specialists call now on (08) 9455 3284. Have a Hino Dutro 300 that just doesn't stop like it used to? A new customers truck came in for a service, and they mentioned it doesn’t stop as well as it used to. We noticed the rear brakes were making a scraping noise when we brought the truck in and while doing the brake inspection we found a brake pad missing and piston in the calliper was dragging on the rotor. We Notified the customer and replaced the rotor, calliper, and pads. Now it stops perfectly. It pays to get the servicing done correctly to avoid costly extra repairs. If you need someone to have a look at your truck give us a call on (08) 6253 8692 and we'll get you back on the road in no time. http://www.mcglashanmechanical.com.au/
