The Parenting Psychologist
Description
The Parenting Psychologist specialises in the counselling and support of individuals during the parenting years I help adults and children through 'the parenting years', from the pregnancy of a first child to personal and parenting difficulties impacting a happy family life.
I help mums, dad’s and children personally understand and overcome a broad range of problems including stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, divorce and childhood behavioural problems. Consultations take place in a private home setting, away from the main streets, overlooking the ocean from Maroubra in Sydney’s east.
Here are some of the concerns clients come to me with:

PERSONAL QUALITIES FOR CHANGE
People who make lasting change in their lives possess the following qualities:
They have a powerful reason to change – you want to improve your or someone in your family’s feelings, behaviours, circumstances, relationship or coping mechanisms.
They're open to learning new approaches – these new skills will help you to improve feelings, behaviours, circumstances, relationship or coping mechanisms.
They're committed to taking action – change comes about when one learns new skills and implements them in their current circumstances.
