Description
Open since November and located just off the Marina we are in the perfect location for you to enjoy the vibrant Fruit Market area of the City of Culture. Our Hull site is nestled in the heart of the Fruit Market in a former fruit and veg warehouse. Whilst the exterior retains a touch of the building’s past, the interior has been transformed into a contemporary, vibrant and energetic space.
With a menu of over 30 hot tapas dishes (some cooked in our Spanish Josper oven!) there’s so much to choose from, it warrants multiple visits. The same applies to our drinks list which is perfect for working through in our bar area. For those summer days, our outdoor seating area overlooking the marina will whisk you away to the Mediterranean.
*Dogs are welcome in our bar area during quiet periods, at our manager's discretion.

We love that you all just keep coming back :) 'First time me and the other half dined in Ambiente Hull was to celebrate a promotion. It's when we discovered the Morcilla balls. Since then we have been in on a numerous occasion either as a couple, girls night out and with colleague's from work. Whilst we always try other dishes, the Morcilla balls is a staple on every visit. We've got a new special on, guys! Come and try our Chistorra Chorizo. Chistorra is a fast-cured, regional specialty sausage from the Basque country. It's thinner than a typical chorizo and is flavoured with paprika and garlic. We've roasted ours on our firebreathing Josper Grill and it's served on a bed of rich garlic braised smashed white beans. Today's competition winner is Hannah for this great story! 'My partners sister was getting married and we all headed to York for her dress fitting. After seeing her in her beautiful dress we decided to go for some food. It was pouring down with rain as we wandered down Fossgate and we stumbled across Ambiente for the first time. The food was amazing (especially the focccacia!) and it instatly became my favourite restaurant. We visited quite a few times after that and then it was announced an Ambiente was opening in Hull - just 15 minute away. 10th Birthday Competition Winners
Proving that tapas isn't just for adults, Nicola sent in these great pictures of her kids dining at our Goodramgate restaurants with some specially created 'mocktails'! Here's what Nicola wrote: 'We are struggling to think of our best memory at ambiente as we have had so many! Attached are two pictures. One from 2012, when the Olympic torch came to york and my three kids and I came for an early tea before watching the torch make its way through york. The kids were given amazing cocktails and loved the food. The second picture is of our eldest at 7 years old having worked hard for his y2 Sats and got to choose a treat.
