The Whittington & Cat is a contemporary Lounge Bar situated in the heart of Hull adjacent to the Marina and close by to the Hull Arena and shopping areas. The Whittington & Cat Food and Lounge Bar is a family run business with a storied history in Hull. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible customer experience in Hull. A unique selection of continental drinks and premium wines and spirits is offered to our customers in a modern, stylish, refurbished, victorian pub along with home cooked food and all the entertainment BT Sports has to offer.
The bar is an independent business to the accommodation but an excellent working relationship ensures that guests staying at the Whittington & Cat are welcomed and taken care of by our friendly bar staff enabling the most enjoyable stay possible.
The Whittington & Cat is an ideal venue for all events including (but not limited to) wedding parties, birthday parties and anniversaries. The Bar can be booked out on request and has a generous capacity.

Please note due to an event at the Hull Arena, booking is highly recommended.
Back due to popular demand! We're now serving Fish and Chips every Friday from 12.00 noon until we sell out - or 8pm, whichever comes sooner. Just £8.45 for beer-battered fish and chips with a choice of mushy or garden peas.
