Following the sad news of our closure, we would like to inform you that the defibrillator acquired by MEGC last year has been re-located and will remain a valuable asset to the local community in its new location at Reach Pharmacy, Gartcosh. We would like to take this opportunity to thank member Graham Vines and St. Andrew's Ambulance Service, who donated the defibrillator and provided AED/ CPR training for a number of volunteers- many of whom live locally.

Gerry again...personal idea following a phone call from a member. Check with your Credit Card Company if you paid fees etc using this method - you may be covered. Have no idea about issues like this but worth passing on.

FYI For the benefit of those who haven't heard or couldn't attend the EGM on Tuesday, 20 August the current situation is that MOUNT ELLEN GOLF CLUB has ceased all operations and is currently in the hands of MLM Solutions.
