Dog grooming salon set in beautiful grounds, adjacent to the Essex Way Walk & located minutes from the regular Park-and-Ride bus service into Colchester. Pooccini Dog Grooming was established by Rebecca Hawe on April 1st, 2015 and since has continued to have an expanding customer base of over 220 dogs during her career to date. Lauren Mellor, dog grooming assistant, joined the team in July 2016.
Set in the beautiful, scenic grounds, Pooccini is tucked away in fields from busy traffic and noises that could be distressing to your dog. The sound of birds chirping and alpacas humming is as loud as it gets; whilst still easily accessible from Colchester, adjacent to the Essex Way Walk and located minutes away from the regular Park-and-Ride bus service into Colchester.
Pooccini ensures that your pampered pooch is treated with top-quality service, and well-trained staff to serve your fur-baby like royalty in a safe and calming environment, free from drying cabinets.
Rebecca and Lauren’s top priority is the welfare of your pooch, ensuring that they are comfortable and safe, and customer satisfaction – we aim to please. Rebecca and Lauren take pride in ensuring that your pampered pooch is looking and feeling their best, offering services from nail clipping to spa treatments. Dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments are welcome! We are understanding and patient that some dogs take that little bit longer than others, each have their own characteristics. We like to make their experience unique, a comfortable and familiar place they want to return to.

For the duration of February and early March, Pooccini Dog Grooming will only be open two days per week – Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is due to Rebecca being at university full-time so the appointments will be limited temporarily. Responses to enquiries may also be delayed for this exact reason. Pooccini will be re-launching as of early March when a new groomer joins the team meaning that there will be more available appointments.
