Castle weddings in Cheshire – a summer wedding at Peckforton Castle | Andrea and David
If you're thinking about castle weddings in the North West, then there's one venue that springs immediately to mind: Peckforton Castle. I previewed Andrea and David's wedding day a few weeks ago with some cracking black and white portraits. Now it's time to give you the full show! The mid August daylight gave us plenty of time to find some great locations for portraits, both indoors and outside; something we took full advantage of, making use of the Great Hall (who doesn't want a photo in the Great Hall?), the stairwells with their hard directional light and the woodland surrounding the castle. Today I'm going to give you an insight into the world of PR photography. Here's how it usually happens. I receive a call from a PR company. Often, it's someone I know and have worked with before; occasionally, it's someone I've never met, and usually that's because they're based in London or the South East. In the latter circumstance, that's often because I've been recommended to them or occasionally just because a quick look through this blogsite will show you that I shoot a lot of PR work, and I'm good at it. Building photography | Development properties in Sandbach
This post follows on from this previous post; more photographs of two development sites in Sandbach for property company MyPad. As with the previous posts on their acquisitions, the first property is another rundown Grade II listed building, in need of a substantial but sympathetic refurbishment. It's a former dairy farm (though a rather small one) nestled right in the heart of the town centre, with a great view of the church, and comprising the main house, several outbuildings and surrounding land. Wedding photos from a grand day out in Macclesfield Today, a handful of wedding photos as a preview of what was, without a shadow of a doubt, a wedding quite unlike any other I shot last year. From the moment I first met Emma and Paul it was quite clear that they lived and breathed the great outdoors. They live in the outskirts of Macclesfield, on the fringes of Macclesfield Forest and the Peak District, and spend all their time running, climbing and mountain biking around it.
