'Blue Remembered Hills' tickets for the matinee performance this afternoon at 2.30pm only £5 per ticket subject to availability. Doors will open at 1.45pm. There are only 2 single tickets available for this evening's performance so get to the matinee to make sure you don't miss this excellent Dennis Potter play.
Just three more performances of this terrific production left and tonight and tomorrow evenings' are limited (although there will be some available on the door). Busy Busy time at the Headgate - Tomorrow - read through and auditions for DI Viv and Rose - a brilliant three hander for the ladies - with Steve Wooldridge - Monday and Wednesday evening this week Then 12th June read through The Play What I Wrote - brilliantly funny three hander for men based on Morecambe and Wise- and directed by Anthony Roberts - non the less, and then on 20th and 21st June, reading and auditions for Entertaining Angels - a very very strong piece for older and younger ladies and a mature Vicar, directed by Vince Webb. Each of these plays is going to run a storm in our intimate little theatre.

Performances 19th to 21st October Read Through and Auditions - 20th and 21st June at 8pm in the Headgate Studio Di, Viv and Rose by Amelia Bullmore, directed by Steve Wooldridge. Performances 9th to 12th November Read Through and Auditions: 9th May and 11th May at 7.30pm at the Headgate Theatre Father Christmas - the Panto, directed by Lisa Elvish Performances 7th to 11th December Read Through 11th September. When clearing stuff at the theatre yesterday we established that we have a surplus of ballet barres. These are free standing and have adjustable heights. one is 6 feet long the other is two lengths with a middle support and is 12 feet long. might these be of any interest to any of our theatre friends? Ever thought about becoming a volunteer at The Headgate? There are a range of roles available to suit all interests, and YOU are in control of the amount of time that you give to us. Whether you fancy doing front of house, assisting in the bar, or participating in production roles such as sound, lighting, stage management, costume or props – we want to hear from you.
