The Cambridge Primary Care Unit (PCU) works to improve health through our research and teaching We're based at the Clinical School at the University of Cambridge. We focus our research on:
- identifying and targeting the behaviours that lead to chronic disease;
- improving early detection of illness;

Our research is organised into five themes: Behaviour and Health, Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes, Cancer, Health Services Research and End of Life Care.
We teach all Cambridge medical students, working with GPs in teaching practices, and train clinicians and researchers.
