Fitzwilliam Winter Ball 2016 - Suspect (1)
A big thank you to our roaming photographer Oliver Robinson Photography for providing you all with alibis. Hope everyone had a great night, see you in 2018.
Thank you to everyone that came to Suspect, the Fitzwilliam College Winter Ball 2016! A big thank you also to our main sponsors, Pubs On Wheels and Sun Mark. We hope that you all had a fantastic time at the ball and enjoyed unmasking the culprit! ************** For those of you who didn't solve the mystery, the killer of Dr. Black was Colonel Mustard... During the dinner Colonel Mustard was seated opposite Dr Black. As the various courses came and went, he thought over Monty Black’s last words. What was the pressing matter that the doctor wanted to discuss? However, still humiliated from being rejected, he could not bring himself to talk to him. Instead, he sat and stewed. Opposite him, Dr Black stood up, gave a slight nod, and left. Mustard, fighting a rising wave of indignation, also rose. Hot on his heels, the Colonel followed Black to the Billiard Room. Suddenly, the injustice of it all toppled Colonel Mustard and he saw red. In between Mustard’s shouts, Dr Black tried to explain. However, Colonel Mustard, fed up, rashly brandished his revolver to make his point. Mistaking it for an imminent assault, Dr Black stepped back - and crashed backward through the window pane.Worried about his military image and distraught, Colonel Mustard ran from the scene of the crime, and slipped back among the dinner guests. Dr Black’s death was a tragedy, and was worsened by the fact that he was on the verge of confessing his love for Mustard. If the Colonel had only listened to Dr Black a few moments more, a death could have been avoided, and a romance could have bloomed in its place. Instead, the night came to be remembered with mystery and everyone became a suspect. ************** Make sure to check out all of the photos from the ball on our Facebook page, including the survivors photo! Keep an eye out for the pictures from the Gallery which will be uploaded in the next couple days! See you all again in two years...
