Mark Owen With back to back weekend 48hrs trips at two different venues resulting in 3 fish to 35lb 2oz. The first venue was Coking Farm fishery in Dorset, a 21lb 15oz Common fell to a Wicked White pop up fished over a bed of 18mm & 14mm Twisted Nutz Boilies. My second venue choice was The syndicate at Emperor Lakes in Loddiswell, Devon. The fish on this session both fell to a Wicked White pop up 14mm Twisted Nutz bottom bait to create a balanced snowman. Both fish come over a scattering of freebies close to a marginal reed bed.

Mad Baits Team Manager has been in contact after a social with another Team Member NUTZ popup with a scattering of NUTZ tempting this 20lb beauty Had this perfect scaley on a spontaneous guest session with a friend. With it being a social I could hear what sounded like A herd of elephants running down the track I look out my brolly to be greeted by a massive smile and a set of bright vass wader straps that could only mean one thing. My mates had the biggun. 40+ With the fish showing all over him I was wondering if I was going to get in on the action and then suddenly after an hour of soaking up another mans achievement My rod was away. Having had a battle which seemed like an eternity wiping out my other rods getting weeded several times my prize was awaiting me. As I pulled back the thick weed the what felt like a 40 suddenly turned into a 20 but that wasn't a problem when it was dressed in that scaley pattern.

New PB @ 40lb on the nose for Mad Baits young Team Member A.J. Featherstone from Linford Lake. Wicked Whites and NUTZ free offering with a Wicked Whites snowman being the downfall of this awesome fish. A.J told us at Mad HQ This morning, my dream for the past couple of years suddenly came into reality. I caught Linford's famous big girl called Clover. I returned to the swim that i fished during my previous session for an over-nighter and clipped my rods to my original spots and baited up as before with Wicked Whites and NUTZ free offerings. At 4am i was awoken by an incredibly fast take and after a 20 minute intense battle, a huge mirror was resting in the folds of my net. After running to my bivvy to find a light, i looked down it's side and located the iconic three scales. It was at that moment that i knew it was her here she is at 40lb on the button and a new pb for me by over 5lb.
