#theploughcoton - popped in for a light fishy lunch... chose the fish platter which was a lovely mix of gravalax, smoked mackerel, excellent smoked salmon, anchovies and pickled cockles. Along with pickles and one of the nicest tartare sauces I've tasted. The tartare was very light on sauce but rather finely chopped gherkins. The smoked salmon was the sort I look for in that it cut cleanly and was as soft as anything. The only thing I would say is the a nice piece of rollmop herring would be a good addition over the anchovies but that's personal choice. All in all this place continues to excel in its service and food. In fact I've learnt that I'm back there tomorrow night for a friend's birthday meal...already looking forward to it... #cambridgefood #eatcambridge #fishplatter
