Merchandise design and high quality Screen Printed garments. Logo design. Advertising, Branding and Creative Direction for online media. Almost 10 years ago i started printing t-shirts, i was developing a passion for design and so i taught myself how to screen print, over 3 very long months, in my first workshop in Banchory!
Since then i’ve developed the business to focus on creative solutions for merchandise print, making your business, brand, club or team stand out.
I noticed a gap in the market for the whole package, most print companies are not design based and most designers are not screen printers.
I can take an idea and develop it through the design process to the finished article, whether it’s a run of t-shirts or a whole range of merchandise. I now have a great deal of experience under my belt of what works and how best to achieve it, within a budget suited to your needs.
If you already have artwork you’d like printed then i can advise on colour schemes, garment styles and help with promotional material for your brand, business or group.
As well as producing high quality screen printed clothing of course!
I have no minimum order quantity for screen printing, i don’t work like big companies where you have to order at least 25 items and pay huge set up costs. I make my own rules. Even if you only want a few items, they will all be printed with a high quality, long lasting screen print. More recently i have moved into design beyond just clothing and merchandise, working on identity’s and branding for various small businesses, groups and clubs.
I can help with social media design to make you stand out from the ever growing crowd, develop a logo for your business or group, or create a great poster to advertise your event.

It’s been an incredibly busy few weeks to end an incredibly busy year! I’m now off until the 8th of January when it will be back to business as usual. I’d like to wish all my customers, old and new, a very Merry Xmas and all the best for 2018. K.x
I will be at Tarland Winter Fair this Saturday selling my range of local themed bags and t-shirts, in a couple of new designs and some old favourites. I’m currently taking Xmas orders for the bags pictured below, in any of the colours/sizes shown, with any of the displayed designs. T-shirts will be available for Xmas sales from stock only. 2-4pm in the MacRobert Hall, The Square, Tarland. Looking forward to it!x
Good afternoon folks. My print diary is now almost full for the month of December. I will continue to take new enquires for pre xmas orders throughout next week but looking at the Friday the 1st of December as being the cut off date to guarantee Xmas delivery… so give me a shout ASAP if you have any requirements! It's been a crazy busy few weeks here in my wee print bothy! Hot off the press today are these rather smart soft shell jackets, to go with hoodies and t-shirts for fellow local business and regular customer Deeside Roofing LTD.x
After an incredibly busy 6 months here at Kate McKie Design and Print i will shortly be taking just over a weeks Holiday, from Monday the 3rd July until Tuesday the 11th. I will be at Tarland Primary School Fayre tomorrow afternoon from 12 til 2, with a selection of my T-shirts and bags. I’ve added some new colours, new items and a brand new design!
