It’s not only cars we work on here at Carbonshine, This awesome Giant Defy Advanced 1 Full Carbon Fiber composite road bike came in for us to clean and apply Kenolon Ceramic Shield 9h coating. All parts of the bike were treated with the ceramic coating including the frame, forks, wheels and cranks etc which will protect them from salt and road dirt meaning this bike can be used all year round, no need for a second “Winter” bike!! Future cleaning will also be much easier and quicker as the coating is extremely hydrophobic and to a degree scratch resistant lasting up to 3 years. Cracking Mini Cooper Works came in for a one day, single stage correction to freshen up the paintwork. We also removed the scratched and damaged bonnet stripes and swapped the wheels for a different set. The paint responded very well to the single stage and now looks very bright and glossy again. Another very happy client.

A returning client brought her new Alfa Romeo Mito Veloce in for us to work on, sadly there were lots of scratches and marks which really shouldn't have been on a brand new car!! but we performed a 2 stage correction to remove these before coating it with Kenolon Ceramic Shield 9h to give added gloss and up to 3 years protection to the awesome Tornado Blue paintwork. We were also asked to polish and ceramic coat the amazing carbon fibre seat backs along with the wheels, calipers and exhaust tips before being collected by a very happy client indeed.

We had the pleasure of carrying out our Enhancement Detail and Krypton 5 Ceramic Coating on this very nice S3. The Nano Grey paint had some swirls and scratches to remove before applying the K5 coating to the bodywork, wheels and plastics giving vital protection for the next few years. Another very happy client.

It was a pleasure having Gary McLoughlin from Auto Gleam Detailing in Airdrie attend our studio on Saturday for Kenolon Ceramic Shield training. We carried out a single stage correction on this Audi Q3 in preparation for the training and went through the strict Ceramic Shield application process with Gary leaving this Q3 protected for years to come. Gary now joins our Certified Detailer network for Kenolon Ceramic Shield application, welcome to the team Gary.

1st of many new 18 plate cars was in this week in the shape of this stunning new RS3 finished in a special order Audi Exclusive Venetian Violet. It was delivered straight from the dealer with the wrappers still on and collected from our studio on the 1st March by a very happy client. We performed our New Car Detail and applied Kenolon Ceramic Shield 9h giving it the best start in life being protected for years to come. Next so be saved was this very nice Mercedes A220 limited motorsport edition in for our Enhancement Detail and Krypton 5 ceramic coating. We performed a 2 stage correction before applying Krypton 5 for added gloss and protection. wheels were also removed, polished and coated. Another very happy client.

We had Andrew from "The Ice of Disco's" with his well looked after Transit Sport in for an Enhancement. We performed a 2 stage correction to remove some swirls that had built up over time. Due to time constraints and the size of the van we agreed to correct as much as we could and he will return soon to have the rest finished.

We certainly had a challenge with the next car in Carbonshine HQ, This S3 had been washed with a brush for several years resulting in 100% of the paintwork becoming so badly scratched it had become completely matt with zero shine. Our brief was to make it shine again so we spent over 50hrs performing a multi stage correction removing around 90% of the defects in the solid black paintwork!! Another car saved from a costly re-spray and just shows what can be achieved with correction alone. Needless to say our client was extremely happy with the results.

Next in was this really nice BMW M3 finished in Silvertone 2. We performed our Enhancement Detail to remove some swirls and scratches before applying Kenolon Ceramic Shield 9h for the best protection. The client collected and left with some aftercare advice, products to keep it in top condition and a big smile on his face!! Another very happy client indeed.

Previously detailed by ourselves, this Lovely Kahn Range Rover was once again shipped over from Marbella in Spain where it lives for our Enhancement Detail. We performed a 2 stage correction removing swirls and scratches before applying a coat of Nanocoat wax. It's now ready to turn heads cruising down Marbella's marina in the sun. Another very happy client.
