Get set for spring, its coming.... its May Day weekend and we have some cracking good local beverages (that I am told improve your maypole dancing and are 100% suitable for all May Queens)..Not often that May starts on a Monday.. That has to be worth a celebration... Great looking menu for the weekend full of gourmet delights, open for breakfast from 09:30

Haddo House & Country Park - a remarkable place, make it yours to discover

Haddo Easter Egg hunt is on tomorrow and you need to pre-purchase parking tickets to gain access to the country park. There is strictly NO parking or access from Formartine’s to the country park to attend the easter egg hunt. Last year it had a very negative impact on our business so please respect that we provide & maintain our car park and facilities for OUR customers and visitors. The holidays have arrived and there is plenty for the whole family to do here at Formartine's. Enjoy the walks in the woods, see how many fairy houses you can spot and have a game or two of pooh sticks there is plenty to keep the kids busy. Mum and Dad sit back and relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, a slap up meal or a delicious cake.

As you may have heard Mother's Day is fast approaching. A great excuse to spoil mum and treat her to a lovely day out. It will be business as usual here at Formartines which means we won't be taking bookings and we do expect it will be busy however, a short wait for a table gives you a moment to browse in our food hall and gift shop where we are happy to help you find the perfect present. Open from 9.30 am till 5.30pm. Have a great weekend!

The school holidays are here, and there is plenty to do at Formartine's. Go den building, spot the fairies or have a game or two of pooh sticks in the woods. A day outside having fun all finished off with an indulgent drink or cake, we would call that a perfect day.

Gin is in! We have some new and exciting Scottish gins in the shop and all the tonics and mixers you could ever wish for, our favourite is posh pops sloe lemonade, its great in any gin!
