Who wants to take part in our September challenge ? ✨✨ PLANKS can help improve your posture By strengthening your back, chest, shoulders, neck, and abs, this exercise makes it easier to keep your shoulders back and your lower back in a neutral position while sitting or standing — two vital components of good posture.✌️ Feel free to come to class a little earlier or stay back after to face the plank challenge. We encourage everyone to get practising 💪💪💪💪 Winner announced on the last day of September. Prize for 1st 2nd and 3rd place 👍 Please note: form will be watched diligently, no cheating to keep it as fair as possible 🙏

Good morning folks As we reach another new school term, whereby kids (& parents) are back into routine, We will be running more kids classes. We are currently updating our timetable & would like to know if any parents out there Keen to get their kids into pilates could PM us with a day/time that suits. This will give us a clearer indication of what day would be most popular for kids pilates. Weekdays/Saturday and what particular time. Really sorry guys for the classes that have been cancelled today. However the studio has been painted and for health and safety reasons it wouldn't be advisable to run classes because of the paint fumes. Bums and Tums will be taking place in Conor's room right beside the driving test centre and a HIIT class will be running in this room also at 7:30 instead of Box Spin. All classes will resume as normal from tomorrow 6:45am Box Core. Many thanks and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hi folks, As things are quite hectic for kids during the Summer months we have decided to remove Kids Pilates from the timetable for the month of August. Come September, we plan to revise our timetable and make a few updates but in the meantime the timetable will stay the same minus the Kids Pilates at 11:30 Saturday morning. ⭐ 14 Fitness Stretch of the Day ⭐ The Figure 4 Stretch 🙏 🔷 The Figure Four stretch is one our all-time favourite hip stretches to do, especially for lower back pain and sciatica relief. This is a great lower back exercise to help relieve muscle tension from sitting too long at a desk. It is perfect for when we see someone come into the class with a dull ache in their lower back, say from a long car drive, or maybe from sitting for too long in a meeting, plane or train. In these situations is the best time to perform this type of hip stretch. The Figure of Four Stretch can be done in three different positions: ➡️Laying on your back ➡️Sitting ➡️Standing Below Amy is demonstrating the stretch lying on her back in the Supine position. 🔷 From a completely flat position, bend one knee. The other ankle should be placed on the thigh of the bent leg. With both hands pull the bent leg to your chest. You can see that the stretch sort of resembles the number 4. You will feel a stretch in your hips and glutes which will ease pain in your lower back which can stem from having tight hips 🙏🙌💛 ❗❗❗Please ensure you have permission from your GP or physical professional before carrying out any of the exercises or stretches demonstrated ❗❗❗
