We are building a remarkable work hub for smart-thinking entrepreneurs, creative start-ups and ambi-tious small businesses.
Ready to get out of the basement and into a real office? Before you strike out on your own and get locked into a lease, consider a coworking space. They're more affordable, full of start-up people like you, and probably cooler than any office your start-up could afford.

Working from home sounds great but after a while it can get lonely and boring. You start to miss the camaraderie of the office and you notice your days are much more productive when you get out of the house Entrepreneurs and independent professionals do not conform to one way of thinking,
nor should the space they work in. Boxworks is a community of individuals committed to
hard work, collaboration and business sustainability. The coworking space, resources
and events are designed to provide your business the credibility and access to be successful
and the environment you need to be happy.

With a less is more design philosophy Boxworks offers an affordable, simple to use work space. Box-works is geared to how we communicate and interact in today’s connected world. In an age when too many of us rely on dreary home offices, and soulless rent-a-room centres to accommodate our work lives, Boxworks provides a meaningful alternative.

Set in the Waterford City Centre, our dual mission is both to provide a professional, relaxed atmos-phere for freelancers, start-ups, and techies of all sorts to finish their projects and also to foster the connections of creative people in Waterford City and beyond.

We understand that people like to be around people like themselves. So we create inclusive, collabo-rative communities of like-minded people doing exciting things. We work really hard to bring together the right talent, energy and resources to create an environment in which you feel inspired and are successful, because your workspace should be more than just a place you go to work.
We do things differently.
We insist on our workspaces being in the City centre – so you can walk or cycle or get the bus to them (and your kid’s school, the shops, hairdresser, favourite coffee shop…you get our drift). We are invest-ing mucho Euros in buying an amazing building. So if it looks like a shed on a faceless edge-of-town business park it won’t be one of ours. It’s just not our thing.
We tailor the workspace to suit your needs, from co-working, to full-time desks, private offices and board rooms. And to make sure you don’t spend all your time at your desk we wrap them around a lounge area, cool kitchen, shared resources, event space and meeting rooms.
We believe you should have fun at work. So we throw in a good dose social events, beers and pizza on a Friday – just to end the week on a high. Because to be productive, you sometimes need time out.
