First game back today after a 2 month break. A hard loss to killorglin in the cup. We have come a long way and I don't believe the scoreline reflected well on the game. Down 2 nil from too sloppy goals we fought against a hard wind to keep the damage to a minimum before the half. Hard to get outta your own half when the goal kicks blow back on top of ya. We had some chance and a great work rate. Came out in the second half and got one back with a great strike from Richard Hurley. Game on from here. We kept up the pressure when disaster struck. A penalty. Which was excellently saved by Killian Moran who's unbelievable saves today kept the damage down. Not long after as we searched for a goal complete disaster as we conceded another penalty. Killorglin made no mistake this time and buried it. The airline today does not reflect the effort against a team searching for promotion to prem A. Choggy, luke and greeny all had chances to get a few back but rust and luck came into play. The spirit of the team and the fight in the players has been the best I have seen all season. If we continue to build like that as a team we will avoid relegation. Best of luck to Killorglin AFC in there season. Best on the day. Richard Hurley, Daniel Kinsella kinsella and killian Moran. This takes nothing away from every other player today who played well.

Another loss for us in a close fought game with a good Ballyheigue Athletic Football Club team. Both teams know each other well and it's always a big occasion to play. Both teams fought hard and fair and the game was for the most part contested fairly We wish Ballyheigue the best for the season. Chance came at both ends they took one of there's which was enough. The game could of changes with an off the ball incident which the referee was looking right at. A kick to the back of our players legs with the ball out on the other side of the pitch. Now I don't slate refs in match reports ever. They have a tough time as well on the pitch. But this was a disgrace. If the ref hasn't the bottle to make the call to send a man off he shouldn't be a ref. It's was a joke. How an off the ball incident like this does not warrant a red card is beyond me. It's an easy dicision it's not like a 50 50 it's off the ball away from the play. An obvious red card to anyone even if they didn't have a clue about soccer.

Strand road 1 CG Killarney 1 Coming off a 4 game loosing streak we needed something today after being robbed by bad luck last week. On a heavy pitch it was hard to move the ball not to mind control it. We started well and both teams played nice football in the first half. CG went ahead in the second half with what I regard as an offside goal, but these things happen. We showed great hear after going one nil down and kept up the work rate. Injury's and work meant we were missing a few and with players coming off injured we had to do a lot of re . At times we looked back to our best with some lovely football. Tommy Mac brought down in the box and Dan Kinsella converted the peno. 1 all it finished. Wither team could of won it in the last 10 min but a point is a fair result. we wish CG the best with there season. A niceball playing team.

Strand road 1QPR 2 another loss but a lot of positives. Went up one nil with a super strike from tommy Mac. Stayed to the game plan and were never really threatened in the first half. Second half we showed a bit too much respect to QPR. Who capitalised with a good free kick routine outside the Area. Was 50 50 after that until the worst goal in the history of football went in. I don't even wanna explain it. We could of drawn level before the end but captain Dan Kinsella lob just went over. Some positives to take from the game was a solid team performance. We will he back stronger and better.

We lost 3 1 today against a good prem A side. We never made it easy for them and we are happy enough with the team performance. Dingle were very well organised and from the off it was a battle. 2 set pieces cost us 2 goals but a great run by jarleth saw him score his first for the club. We pushed in the second hall and nearly drew level with a great strike from Richie hurley who had a super game. Killian made some excellent saves as he does. Good all over performance. Keep it up and we can challenge for the title
