Based in Tralee, Co Kerry, Siamsa Tíre celebrates Irish culture through the arts and is home to the National Folk Theatre of Ireland. Siamsa Tíre, Celebrates the Irish Culture through the Arts and is home to the National Folk Theatre. The venue is a hub for the development of Folk Arts and also Kerry's premier venue .From May to September the venues hosts a FOLK ARTS Festival with performances by the National Folk Theatre. For the remainder of the year we present a vibrant programme of Dance, Drama, Comedy, Film and Music Concerts, as well as Workshops, Masterclasses and Children’s events. The venue also operates a Visual Arts Gallery with a year round programme, featuring the annual Emerging Artist Award for breakthrough artists.

Looking for some drama this week? Get yourself to St.Johns Listowel this Thurs/Fri. They have been rehearsing here at Siamsa Tíre and it's sounding great! A play by Harriet O Carroll directed by Neil Flynn and the premiere of The Eamon Keane Award winning play at Listowel Writers' Week 2016. Starring Judith Ryan and Kieran Roache. Kieran, a graduate of the The Gaiety School Of Acting, is a former member of Free Radicals Youth Theatre, Tralee and this marks his full stage debut on a Kerry stage as a professional actor.
