Last Tuesday I wrote an autobiographical blog detailing my journey in life and revealing publicly for the first time that I was sexually abused by my father as a young child and the years I spent in psychotherapy to overcome this. The straw that finally broke the camel's back for me was being sexually abused as a vulnerable young adult by a scout leader, which led to psychiatric hospitalisations at the age of 20.
