** *SEVEN SHADES - A COMEDY STORYTELLING EXTRAVAGANZA BY AINDRIAS DE STAIC *** For anyone who enjoys a bit of comedic story-telling with plenty of music-making and a ton of devilment, this special appearance at Alice’s Restaurant in Naas should not be missed! Aindrias has just enjoyed the last few months performing with the National Theatre of Ireland on their hit show “Jimmy's Hall” and now returns to Kildare with his new creation Seven Shades. It details the plight of a young man who simply can’t stop acting the bollox! IT IS NOT AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL!! Seven Shades of Shtax is about a man seeking life’s answers. Armed with a fiddle, a loop peddle and some epic stories, he tries to address his (many!) fundamental character defects. A storytelling experience with a difference, by Aindrias de Staic, returns to Naas for more craic, after his summer stage success with the Abbey theatre in Dublin. After it's sell-out run in the International Bar as part of Dublin Fringe Festival, and the Vodafone Comedy Carnival in Galway, the show, Seven Shades, visitS Alice’s for its next outing. Many of you will remember his previous show, The Man from Moogaga which toured widely and won a BAI award for its adaptation to radio when it was aired as a special broadcast on St. Patricks day earlier this year. On the night Aindrias will have support from another Irish act on the rise, Liam Oragh. Liam is a Dublin based Singer-Songwriter - fun, alternative, edgy, original, (Lou Reed meets Damien Dempsey)- he comes from the same music school as Sinead O'Connor and Christy Dignam and is about to kick off a small Irish tour to promote his new album, 'Arguments against Insanity'. WHEN Saturday 18th November Doors: 7:30pm WHERE Alice's Restaurant 5 The Moat Mall Naas, Co.
