At Well Balanced Health we believe that physical comfort is a life-long need - move well & feel well.
We provide treatment for neck and back pain, and nerve, muscle and joint problems.
The consultation starts with a conversation about you. Elaine performs a functional assessment to review your gait, posture and movement and evaluates your joints, nerves and muscles. Treatment includes chiropractic manipulation, joint mobilisation and soft tissue therapy.
Initially we focus on pain relief, allowing you to move comfortably again. Then we teach you how to move and exercise in a way that suits you.

Tips to keep fit, healthy and feeling great during pregnancy. 1.30pm - 2.00pm Fitness post-pregnancy - when to recover, how to rebuild. Strategies to exercise safely and effectively as your body recovers from pregnancy and birth. 2.30pm - 3.00pm Injuries, Pain and (lack of) Movement. Discover some of the pathways that link pain, movement and recovery. These informal, family-friendly talks will take 10 minutes, leaving plenty of time for questions and discussion.

What do we do at WBH? At the Initial Consultation (approx 1 hour) we start with a detailed conversation about you and define your short and long term goals. After a full health history, we evaluate your gait and posture, and diagnose your problem using orthopaedic and neurological testing. We use an evidence based approach to diagnosis and to predict how many Follow-up Sessions (approx 20-30 mins) you may need. Treatment consists of a combination of chiropractic manipulation and mobilisation, and soft tissue techniques. Research shows that pain can compromise your strength and stability, and change the way that you move. A comprehensive Functional Assessment is an important part of our treatment plan. It ensures that the focus of care quickly shifts from hands-on treatment to improving your strength and movement so that you can get back to doing the things you enjoy.
