It is a members only club open to people over 16. The table is available 24/7 just contact the number above for access. Ballyforan Snooker Club is a new club which was declared open on 2nd march 2014. It is a one table club situated upstairs in the village hall in the small village of Ballyforan, Co. Roscommon. The solid mahogany table was a kind donation to the village after the closure of pockets snooker club in Athlone. It is a super addition to the parish and is open to members over 16 years of age and it is proposed to run a snooker school for any kids over the age of 10 in order to promote the sport of snooker. Ballyforan snooker club is now accepting membership for 2016, the cost is €40 and 25 for students. Free entry to a 1 frame shoot out tourney will be given to all signed up members. Draw for that tournement will take place on 20th of March. The change of premises is moving forward in the near future and we ask for the continued support of our members.

Congratulations to Chris kelly who won our pre xmas tournament. Next up is our main tournament to crown our club champion. The cost of this tournament is €20 and any 2015 member of the club is eligible to enter. Our AGM takes place on Saturday 17th of January and anyone wishing to take part should enter by then as draw takes place on the night. Happy new year to all and best of luck on the baize in 2016
