Serving God's People. The Community of James the Just is an independent Christian ecumenical and liturgical congregation open to all people who seek to worship God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in a warm and inclusive environment.
We believe that all people, without exception, are made in the image and likeness of God. All people, women and men, are worthy of love and care, dignity and respect. We proclaim the Good News that God loved each person so much that he came to live among us in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, and so by his life, death and resurrection made possible a new and redemptive relationship with himself.
We celebrate this relationship with God in our worship, prayers and thanksgiving. We show it in our service of others, and in our love and care of one another.
We believe Church to be about people; a place of welcome, in good times and bad, for family, friends and fellowship. We, as the Community of James the Just, are committed to unconditional welcome and love.
