Shane Ralph in the business of Decorative Arts for over a quarter of a century.
Through his passion, determination and ability, Shane has dedicated himself to the research and development of fine arts and design.
Shane is a self taught and well versed Decorative Artist.
Over the past 25 years he had dedicated himself to the research and development of this niche. He has an intense passion to restore beauty to things of past, to enhance present design, whilst holding a keen eye on future developments.
Although Shane has a healthy respect for beauty of past, he believes that through modern advances and techniques he can add to this by" breaking to rules" or "flipping the coin" so to speak, thus ensuring that vitality and versatility remains in this ancient art form.
His passion for life, family and creativity - all things natural, organic and intriguing are what drive him.
His work has been described as flawless, precise and knowledgeable, it commands the focus of new and seasoned artists alike.
In his view time is precious and should be wasted wisely!

Lots of new sample panels in progress, marbling ,faux effects ,etc , Here's a few of the woods .
Faux graining on this flush door
Designed in off set panels with oxidized copper leaf inlay effect.
Faux Travertine (hand painted)
Took a few shots of some of these faux blocks whilst putting the finishing touches before lining in the grout/pointing .These are not the finished shots , been busy working in the beautiful west of Ireland for the last weeks. Will post a few images of the finished work when I have time! Loads more faux effect samples to come!

Trompe L'oeil Panel ( work in progress)
Started back at this after a busy few weeks , bit to do on the mouldings before finishing off the apliques & adding to the lower centre panel. This will be a course panel to be taught here!
St. Kevin’s Oratory, Pro–Cathedral
Some before & after images of a project completed back in the Autum of 2016 . Complete re-dec of this chapel with oak graining on all doors .Already posted pics of some of the doors back then so I'll leave most of them them out. Completed on time ready for an exhibition Exhibition on priests who ministered during Easter Rising
