We focus on your beliefs about your health, what will make you feel healthier, and the actions you are going to take to live the life you want. Whether it's eating better, moving more, or learning how to unwind, you decide the habit you want to change and we will help you achieve it.

The easiest way to start a mindfulness practice is by paying attention to your breathing. Set an intention to practice everyday even if just for a few breaths or up to a few minutes. How? Close your eyes and bring your attention to the breath. As it comes and goes notice any sensations you can feel. Maybe feeling some movement and perhaps some other sensations around the nose, the chest or the belly. If you are finding it difficult to notice anything that's fine, just keep paying attention to the parts of the body involved in breathing. Remember: You are not trying to change the way you are breathing; you are just paying attention to the breath however it already is. Your mind will likely wander; just notice when this happens and refocus your attention on the breath. Doing this practice is not intended to be miraculous; just notice how you are feeling at the start and at the end, perhaps something has changed.

Wishing a massive thank you to all who have completed our Mindfulness course this year! You've done so well and we've had lots of fun being in the moment with you :) There will be no course running in December as everyone is busy getting into the festive feeling but there will be a FREE taster session on Monday 12th December at 7pm for anyone who wants to find out more about mindfulness. It will include some information and a chance to try a beginner mindfulness practice. Please ring or text Aimee on 087 4669845 to reserve a place as spaces are limited.

As you read this take a moment to take one slow steady inhale and then a slow gentle exhale. With the breath out let go of the week's struggles and ease yourself into the weekend
