UCC Library - supporting the research and study needs of the University College Cork community since 1849.
UCC Library is comprised of the Boole Library (Main Campus), Boston Scientific Health Sciences Library (Brookfield) and operates a joint Library service with Cork University Hospital Library. UCC Library also operates a joint Library Service with Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
The Boole Library is on the main campus at University College Cork (UCC) which is situated in south-west Ireland and was founded as a Queen’s College in 1845.
The Boole Library is named after George Boole who was first professor of Mathematics at Queens College Cork. Today Boole is best remembered as the originator of Boolean Logic - a fundamental step in today's computer revolution, and the basis for all modern computer software.
The UCC Library has over 700,000 volumes with access to over 60,000 e-journals.

University College Cork Library are very proud to be hosting a launch of the Cathal Cregg and Jackie Pando. Kelly Book "Hello in There" on the 15th March 6pm in Creative Zone, Boole Library.
