I am available for Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop tuition. I will get you up to speed on using these programmes and show you my digital workflow system. This will ensure you spend less time in front of your computer and more time out and about with your camera.

Had the pleasure recently of shooting Irish track legend and 2013 Celebrity Masterchef winner David Gillick who is cycling the 2018 Westport Gran Fondo on behalf of Irish Men's Sheds. A sound guy and taller in real life! :-)
It's been a few years since I shot this old boat wreck at Gortmellia strand, Barnatra in North Mayo. It's still pretty photogenic but over the next couple of years, I guess it will become less so. I'm going to try and get back here again soon when the tide is in and maybe get a different view of it.
A little bit of heaven in North Mayo.
This month, we talk to David Reid. David lives in Toronto, Canada and has been a regular contributor to Art of the Blur. His style is diverse with a combination of organic and inorganic shapes, lines and colour. While the work of some abstract shooters invites the viewer to figure out the content within, I find Davids work just asks you to look. It asks questions. We can all take away something from this work. Read on to discover with makes David see what he sees.
Join me for a WILD ATLANTIC WAY workshop … OR an ACHILL ISLAND workshop. You decide. It takes place on Saturday, March 31st. There will be hands-on instruction including: Effective Composition and Use of Light Shooting in Manual Mode for Ultimate Control over your Image Making Benefits of Shooting in Raw over JPEG Understanding Exposure Aperture and Shutter Priority Modes ISO and using the Histogram Depth of Field Working with Filters. It’s not necessary to have filters as I have spare ones on the day. If you are interested in this or want some more details, feel free to contact me. The cost is €120 and can be paid on the day. The workshop is limited to 3 people. It will be an ideal opportunity for you or your camera club friends to bring your landscape photography to the next level.
