This page has been set up to keep you informed of what will be happening at christmas time in the New Ross District Our page is to try and keep you updated on what is happening in the New Ross District over the Christmas Season.
The run-up to Christmas begins in earnest for New Ross on Saturday 21st November with the arrival of Santa Claus to town. He will begin his journey at Dermot Kehoe’s DIY in Woodbine Business Park at 2.00pm.
Lots of people will be out to cheer Santa Claus on when he arrives on Saturday 21st November. At approximately 4.15pm Santa will lead the New Ross Nollaig Christmas Parade from St Mary’s & Michael’s Parish Church over to the Tholsel where we will see the new town christmas lights turned on for New Ross Nollaig 2015. There will be a prize for the best dressed elf, face painting, goodies and the events along with local entertainment.
'Mega Inflatable Saturdays' are also coming to New Ross on Saturday 28th November and Saturday December 5th, with plenty of free fun and music for all.
Also look out for the Christmas Elves and their 'Random Acts of Christmas' every weekend until the big day!
