The Art of Fine Dining Enter into a world full of passion, energy and happiness, a place that brings the best of two worlds together: art and food. Discover the world of Bibo.

The story of Bibo dates back to 1931 when the prosperous Compagnie Générale Française de Tramways, a French company specialising in developing, maintaining and running tramways, that established a subsidiary in Hong Kong. Decades have past and the Hong Kong headquarters of the Compagnie with its beautiful 1930’s décor were abandoned and a new group of people moved in. It wasn’t a group of men in suits, but a publicly unknown group of street artists, occupying and using the space as their base and second home.

This place got to be known as Bibo, a place where contemporary and street art converge from all corners of the world and where freedom of the senses is encouraged. It is a place that redefines understated luxury and gives a nod to bohemian lifestyle. A place with no restrictions, where people can be themselves and enjoy the simple pleasures of life with their friends, sharing good times, good food, good drinks, and art.

Heading the culinary team is Executive Chef Mutaro Balde with Chef de Cuisine Conor Beach. Their menu at Bibo offers French “gastronomie gourmande”, where everything is home-made, from the bread to the ice cream. Behind the bar, mixologist Alexandre Chatté creates a menu of handcrafted cocktails from the forgotten classics of the 1930s.
