This is the official page of Good Hope School, for all the Good Hopers, friends and lovers of Good Hope School. Good Hope School puts special emphasis on the Christian values of Love, Hope, Joy and Thanksgiving.
Through a whole school approach we aim to draw out the potential and foster the sense of uniqueness of each student.
We are committed to providing all Good Hopers with equal opportunities to develop their spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, social, emotional and aesthetic dimensions.
We accept the call to facilitate the formation of graceful, reflective young women who have a global perspective and are mindful of their responsibilities of citizenship and their capability of making a difference.

【Good Hope One Family Walkathon】 The Walkathon is an annual outdoor activity when the school encourages the Good Hope community get together to strengthen bonding and achieve our collaborative goals with hope. This year the school opens the Walkathon as a family-friendly event so that alumni can also enjoy the fun with friends and families. Cheer for our high jump athlete Toby! //全國第4、國際賽金牌，這些成就已經給Toby「解鎖」了。但回到學界，這個德望學校的「高妹」卻仍未贏過一塊跳高金牌。中一那年首次參賽只排第6，往後兩年都屈居第2，Toby在明年的學界目標十分明確：冠軍，以及1米80。//

The school has held a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) exhibition in early July, to showcase the works of our S.1 and S.2 students. Since the beginning of the year, 19 students have been taking part in the “Adopt a Water Buddy" programme and Hong Kong Water Race. The programme allowed them to be introduced to several high-tech water quality detectors that collect data from the Shing Mun River, Shatin, along with a handful of lab practices using microscopes to observe microbes in water. Thanks to the Open University Science Outreach Team, our students have become more knowledgeable about the ecology of the river and are now more aware of water conservation. Hopefully, this will also inspire all of you to conserve water. Just as the slogan goes, “A drop of water is worth more than a sack of gold to a thirsty man”!
⎮"Rendezvous" Annual Concert 2017 ⎮ A big Thank You to everyone who has attended our student orchestra's annual concert, “Rendezvous”, in Hong Kong Baptist University, on July 26th. It was so enjoyable to see everyone having fun watching us perform a mixing of Chinese traditional music with iconic western instruments. A special shoutout to our alumnae, violinist Kitty Cheung and eminent sand painting artist Edith Wu, who have delivered outstanding performances that night. Our students from the Chinese Orchestra, String Orchestra (secondary and primary), Symphonic Band (secondary and primary), Symphony Orchestra were thrilled (as always) to be able to share our love of music with all of you!
