WE ARE DREAMERS, DESIGNERS, ARTISANS, TINKERERS AND BUILDERS. WE STRIVE TO CREATE THINGS OF BEAUTY THAT INSTIL A SENSE OF MAGIC AND WONDER. Founded by Robert Luxton in 2001, Aeroporto began life as a tensioned fabric and prop specialist, offering custom hand sculpted tensioned fabric installations for projects such as the Cancer Research Fund Millennium Ball, Charlotte Church Concert and Siemens mobile phones.
Our team is an eclectic mix of artisans, designers and engineers, with backgrounds in sculpture, video, lighting, graphics, product and interior design, architecture and construction, electronics and engineering. Aeroporto evolved into an agency able to create extraordinary experiences.
Our studio & workshop is located in Southside Hong Kong, where we imagine, experiment, tinker and invent. Whilst we design, hand build or modify many of our specialised pieces in the studio, we also manufacture in our network of China factories. This combination allows us to work on projects of any scale, whilst remaining fluid, flexible and creative.
Whether it’s a push button automaton, large scale event or an exhibition, we strive to create memorable experiences with a big impact.
