Hey everyone! Now that we have your interest by flaunting the hugely talented Kathy Bridgeman as part of our team, let's take a moment to explain what our show is, and how she fits in! "Almost, Maine", a love story by John Cariani. Directed by Luke Kimball. Escape with us on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter to the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream. Presented through a series of gorgeous vignettes, come see Uxbridge's only professional theatre company tell this story for it's inaugural production! We have the who's who of Uxbridge talent taking part–not to mention professionals coming from Toronto–with different directors overseeing the nine individual scenes of this play. The show will be performed at The Uxbridge Music Hall on July 7th, 8th, 9th and, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th at 7:30pm. With matinees on July 10th & 16th at 2pm.

Meet our first director, Kathy Bridgeman! Kathy, along with her husband Mike, are co-founders of local community theatre group Ryleepuss Productions. Kathy has directed and co-directed over twenty plays, musicals and non musicals including The Odd Couple, Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music, West Side Story, uxperience, and most recently A Chorus Line. Kathy studied at York University obtaining a BA in English Literature, which fueled her passion for delving into the varied characters found in theatrical scripts. Kathy has acted on the stage, worked backstage, and has designed sets, costumes and lighting. Kathy is very excited to be involved with Main Street Productions team and their inaugural show!
