Legend3D is an innovative digital media company specializing in using its proprietary software and leading market technology to create 3D video content. Founded in 2001 by Dr. Barry Sandrew, California-based Legend3D, Inc. is an innovative stereoscopic and visual effects company committed to advancing the art of 3D for first-run feature films while also identifying opportunities to create new revenue from iconic library titles. Our patented proprietary 3D software features unique stereoscopic tools that can adapt to any project, from a 30-second commercial to a full feature film.
With over 250 artists and staff in our Southern California studios as well as a robust support facility in India, we can efficiently manage projects around the clock. We have the capacity to work on up to three full feature films and multiple commercials concurrently.
Early 2013, we moved into a new, state-of-the-art 60,000 sq. ft. studio with multiple theaters and research & development facilities. Then in Spring of 2014, we opened our Hollywood 3D Hub, where filmmakers can review their 3D conversion in continuity on a large RealD screen, and do conversion adjustments in real time. Equipped with a full editorial infrastructure and a 10-gig pipeline to our Carlsbad HQ, the 3D Hub is a one-stop finishing solution for the stereo conform and post needs of our clients.
