Supporting Flight operations in Maldives Islands. An Aeromapper Talon owned by Foresight Surveyors was used to survey a total of aprox. 200 Has in about 40 minutes of flight at 100m obtaining imagery at 2 cm/pixel resolution. The launch and recovery happened from a nearby island due to space constrains on the target island. No problem for the Aeromapper Talon, since it is equiped with long range link communications and has plenty of endurance. Air traffic control was appropiately notified of the operations and they granted air space clearance as well as NOTAM were generated accordingly. The operation was so successful that we had plenty of time of go snorquel after... :-) Expect full report soon!
