We are excited to launch a new endeavor with an aim of building up the house music community in Vancity by bridging the old school with the new - not only with the music, but by connecting the pioneers and forefathers of the movement, with the emerging generation. We are creating a revolving door of artists that w are inviting to share their interpretation of 'deep house.' We have a cozy, living room-style venue that has an inviting atmostphere, within which we want to create an intimate gathering of likeminded friends and family who are into the deep house movement. We also want to accommodate all DJ formats, so whether you play strictly vinyl, CDs, mp3s, a controller - we've got you covered. There will be eats, beats and drinks - with room to dance. Doors open at 7pm, and close at 2am. There will be a $10 advance tickets and a $15 cost on the door to cover the cost of DJs and sound equipment. This is a community event, and if you feel like you want to be a part of it - please contact us at thepride.events@gmail.com. We want your deepest house. Music we can eat dinner to, as well as dance through to the early morning to. We also (with permission) would like to record each set and publish them on the The Living Room Stage's Soundcloud. The Living Room Chronicles concept aligns with The Living Room Stage feel, and we are also paying tribute to our roots in the house scene from this area in the 90s - tipping our hats to some of the record labels and DJs who have influenced us over the years, without whom we wouldn’t be here today. // Endless thanks and gratitude to you all //
