Select your fabrics: http://hanginghugs.com/gallery/

Choose a base(bottom) and trim(sides) ...and if you want it cozy add a fur or fleece liner. Send fabric links to hanginghugs@gmail.com for a quote and to confirm they are still in stock.

Travel HUGS(compact/ light weight fabrics)... $100
Backyard HUGS( extra-durable fabrics)... $150
Fleece-lined HUGS... $220 (extra-wide $260)
Faux Fur HUGS... $280 (extra-wide $320)

HUGS are sewn with high quality fabrics and hang using webbing straps that are included. A HUG can hold two people, no problem.  Fun Fur and fleece lined HUGS provide a thermal layer that keeps you warm, and extra-wide wraps around two people like a sleeping bag.

All Hanging HUGS come with a bag attached that keeps items handy in reach or serves as a pillow. The bag closure is a backpack strap for easy carrying.

Fun Fur HUGS with rope removed are a warm luxurious bedspread, couch cover, picnic blanket or sleeping bag and can be machine washed.

HUGS change lives! Hugs give a hand up, not just a hand out. Everyone deserves a safe place to sleep, which HUGS can provide. We have donated many hammocks to those in need through projects in Uganda and Mexico. By giving sewing machines and fabric to local organizations we enable people to create a living for themselves. Currently we are developing a project in Cuba.

Most clients order online and HUGS are shipped, but anyone is welcome to the studio to pick fabrics. It's nice to get a feel for the quality of softness and durability. But if you can't be here... now you know where the magic happens. I spend days and nights listening to Joe Rogan, Ideas on CBC and The Enormocast podcasts while pumpin' out HUGS. What podcasts can you recommend?

2019 HUGS

Every HUG is unqiue... and serves different uses, but the main question is... do you want warm and cozy, or light and compact? If you want warm and compact, a zipper to add a mattress under a thin liner can do the trick! You don't even need a mattress, it could be a jacket, yoga mat, or some cardboard... anything to create a thermal mass between your back and cool night air. The new bugnets all have a zipper to enter... it's just easier. A rainwear fabric can be on the bottom half to create a warm air pocket and keep wind off... or flip it to the top as a rainfly in a pinch. If you want super compact, you can pick from the new rip-stop travel fabrics that can be used as a base, and add a bugnet on a single base. That's my ticket for traveling. Whatever your needs, if you want an extra-long HUG, short, wide... send me a message and I'll do my best to hook you up in style! -Cory hanginghugs@gmail.com

HUGS in Stock

These are all up for grabs... some are kid-size(inside length marked on the photo)... otherwise the length is the standard size... prices marked. "Travel" means thin, light, compact fabrics, so there is a range of durability. If you are a big person or want to share the HUG with others, get a durable base.
