Marathon by the Sea
Description
Marathon by the Sea is a long-time volunteer-run event weekend promoting fitness, family and fun.
The course offers a challenging route which showcases the charm and beauty of historic Saint John
and the renowned Bay of Fundy. Welcome to the only city on the stunning Bay of Fundy!
There is simply no other place in the Maritimes where the urban
charms of a vibrant, historic city nestle up against the grand,
natural allure of this world-famous Bay.
No wonder Saint John, on the southern coast of New Brunswick,
has quickly become the traveler’s favourite anchor for exceptional
adventures of every kind. Here, you are never far from a new,
unexpected delight, be it an evening of contemporary fine dining,
a band on the boardwalk, whale-watching on the Bay of Fundy or
exploring the world’s highest tides.
Canada's first incorporated city plays host to the Marathon by the
Sea Event in a festive atmosphere of down home maritime
hospitality. Enjoy a cool breeze from the Bay of Fundy, while
experiencing our past and future in the north, south, east and
west side communities of Saint John.
