Wow! The new Downie/Wenjack collection (at Books & Company) looks great! We invite you to come down and have a cuppa something warm and yummy, while browsing the Legacy Room Indigenous reading library and art. Please remember that all the D/W foundation merchandise is a 100% donation. In the spirit of Gord and his brother Mike, please give generously.

Miss Lily's Cafe requires a new team member who is keen, reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and out-going. Someone who will thrive in our fast-paced work environment. You need to love coffee from the bean on up! Experience as a barista is preferred, but not necessary, as we are willing to invest the energy to train the right person. If you have an appreciation for good food, that is a big plus in your favour, and we can help you to perfect the art of making great soups, amazing salads, delicious sandwiches, and savoury quiches. In return we will provide year-round employment at an appetizing rate of pay (plus tips!), a flexible work schedule, and a fabulous crew of co-workers. If this offer of work sounds appealing, please send your resume to barbara@pictonbookstore.com (yes, there is a famous bookstore next door) or drop off your resume in person at Miss Lily's, 289 Main Street, Picton. We look forward to hearing from you.
